1.2 As a user of our website, you should be aware of web links guiding you to other websites that we do not operate but are operated by third parties. Either we highlight those web links or those are recognizable through a change in your browsers address. Regarding those linked websites, we are not responsible for the compliance with data protection law and the safe handling of your personal data at mentioned websites.
2. Personal data
2.1 Personal data are any information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person, which allow identification of that natural person. Such information can be name, date of birth, postal address or email-address. Information, with which we can no longer or only with a disproportionate amount of time or effort identify you, are not personal data.
2.2 Accessing our website is possible without disclosing entirely or partly your identity to us or third parties. Disclosure of your identity is only necessary if you contact us through our website, for instance to ask a question or to get additional information about offers or products. Without disclosure of your identity it would not be possible for us to answer to your contact request or to produce asked services. It is your own free decision, if you want to contact us through our website and for that purpose want to disclose your personal data.
3. Processing data by accessing our website
3.1 Our website is provided by a specialized computer („server
“) to be accessed through the internet. The server collects automatically information and stores it in a log file every time our website is being accessed. This information contains the following data: IP-address, date and time of access, type and version of browser („user-agent
“), used operating system, previous visited website („referrer-URL"), name of the requested file, requested access method or function (pc, mobile, remote access) as well as state of access of the server.
3.2 Data stored in those log files cannot be associated with a specific visitor of our website. There is no conjunction of those data with any other data deriving from any other source by us. Those data are only being used for statistical analyses to improve our website and to protect our website in case of misuse. Only authorized employees of AmpereSoft are allowed to analyse those data statistically. Log files are being deleted completely every six months and are not being stored.
4. Processing personal data in case of downloads on our website
4.1 When you download a test version of our software through our website we ask you for your name, company, whole postal address, phone number and email-address. Without those data we cannot go through with your download request. You may change any data until you start the download, e.g. by closing the input mask without confirming it your data or using the cease-button.
4.2 We process your personal data only for your download request. This also applies for your email-address, which only in case of your explicit consent can be used by us for further specific information relating to your request.
4.3 Regardless of those purposes mentioned before, AmpereSoft stores personal data to comply with legal obligations to preserve those data, e.g. on the base of commercial or tax law. With fulfilment of the purpose those data have been transferred to us for, we block and at the end of the legal obligation to preserve we delete them.
5. Passing on personal data to third parties
5.1 AmpereSoft does not forward personal data to third parties, if it’s not necessary to answer your requests or to process downloads or if it’s permitted by law. In case we transfer personal data to third parties, the transmission is carried out in strict adherence to all valid legal provision. The scope of the transferred data is limited to the minimum required for the fulfilment of the purposes for which the data has to be transferred.
5.3 As far as AmpereSoft does not use its own but another service providers infrastructure to provide the website, those service providers are submitted by data processing contracts to strict data protection laws and to monitoring. Those service providers act strictly bound by directives and the data processing contract to AmpereSoft as the data controller. Exceptions have to be made with regard to services provided by payment service providers, if the necessary data to carry out a payment is transferred via a “transmission of functions” to the service provider.
6. Transfer to third countries
We do not process your data in countries outside of the European Union (EU) or the Agreement on the European Economic Area (EEA).
7.2 The cookies used on our website do not store personal data. You may easily prevent the placement of cookies by adjusting your browser settings or using a plugin (please inform yourself through the help function in your browser). However, we indicate that the preventing of placing a cookie might disable some of the functions we offer on our website.
8. Google Analytics
8.2 The information generated by the cookie about you while accessing the website including your IP-address will be transmitted to and stored by Google on servers in the USA. We make use of the extension „anonymizeIp()" so that IP-addresses will be processed only shortened which excludes the disclosure of your identity.
8.3 Google will use this information for the purpose of evaluating your use of the website, compiling reports on website activity for AmpereSoft and where applicable to provide services relating to website activity and usage for AmpereSoft or third parties. Google may also transfer this information to third parties where required to do so by law in the USA or where such third parties process the information on Google’s behalf. Google will not associate your IP-address with any other data held by Google.

9. Creation of user profiles
In order to facilitate the improvement of the website and for the purposes of marketing and market research we analyse our users behaviour. To serve this purpose AmpereSoft creates anonymous user profiles unless you did not revoke. We ensure that those anonymized user profiles will not be associated with any other personal data about you stored by us. You retain the right to revoke your consent to create anonymized user profiles at any time.

In accordance with the legal provision we make information on your personal data processed by AmpereSoft available do you at all times, free of charge and without delay.
